Abstract

Induction Heating is one kind of heating that uses an induction principle. Induction heating is thought to be safer than conventional Heater due to it not depending on external heating source. The aim of this research is to understand the mechanism of controlling frequency in the heating system and Its effect on the performance of the system. From calculation and measurement, the maximum increase of  temperature of 6.8°C is obtained at freqeuncy of 10 Hz in 600 s. The Maximum average heating value was measured at 1 kHz. This heating system also had a low consumption power of 48.677 watt. Nevertheless, this system had a temperature reading error of 9.83%.
