Author Guidelines

Paper or writing to be submitted must comply with the following restrictions:
1. The manuscript has never been published/published on other media.
2. Manuscripts published in this journal include articles on: policies, research, thoughts, concept/theory reviews, new book reviews and other information related to problems in the fields of electrical engineering and electronics engineering.
3. Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal's website. Authors must log in to submit manuscripts. For manuscript submission guidelines, see the online submission menu. Online registration is free of charge. The length of the manuscript is between 5 to 10 A4 pages (210 x 297 mm) with the manuscript format according to the template provided, including pictures, tables, not containing appendices. Manuscripts are written using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) with an upper limit of 30 mm, left and right 25 mm, and 25 mm for the lower border.
4. The title and keywords must be written in Indonesian, while the digest and abstract must be written in Indonesian and English. The maximum number of title words is 12 words with the following provisions: Times New Roman (TNR) typeface with font size 14, single spacing, centered, and bold (Bold). If the title is too long, the editor has the right to edit the title without changing the meaning of the title, without the approval of the manuscript writer, when the manuscript will go to print. It is recommended that the article title be written in Indonesian in accordance with the Enhanced Spelling (EYD). If there are words in English, they are written in italic format (Italic).
The article starts with Abstract and Digest. Abstract and Digest must not contain images or tables, right-left alignment, Bookman Old Style 9 letters, bold print, and single spacing. Abstract is written in English and the Digest is written in Indonesian.
5. Keywords contain four to eight words, separated by commas, right-left alignment, TNR 9 letters, Bold and single space. Keywords are chosen carefully, so that they can reflect the concepts contained in the article and help increase the accessibility of the article in question.
6. The body of the manuscript must follow the following rules:
Written in two-column format with 4.22mm (0.17") space between columns, aligned right-left, TNR 10, spaced 1.
The systematics of writing an article must contain four main parts: (1) Introduction, (2) Main Content (Methodology and others), (3) Results and Discussion, and (4) Conclusion. Acknowledgments may be displayed after the Conclusion. References are placed at the very back. The chapter titles that must exist are Introduction and Conclusion. The title of the Main Content chapter describes the research method, but not necessarily with the title Method or Methodology. Results and Discussion may be written in one chapter, or written in separate chapters.
7. Maximum headings are created in 3 levels:
Heading 1: Level 1 headings must be in small caps, centered and numbered using uppercase Roman numerals. Level 1 headings that should not be numbered are "Acknowledgments" and "References". For example, “I. INTRODUCTION".
Heading 2: Level 2 headings must be italic (Italic), close to the left and numbered using the uppercase alphabet. For example, "C. Section Heading".
Heading 3: Level 3 headings must be spaced, italicized, and numbered with Arabic numerals followed by right brackets. Level 3 headings must end with a colon. The content of the level 3 section is continued following the heading heading of the same paragraph. For example, this section begins with a level 3 heading.
8. Figures and tables must be centered. Large figures and tables can be stretched on both columns. Any table or figure that spans more than 1 column in width must be positioned at the top/bottom of the page. Images are allowed in color. Pictures are numbered using numbers. Image captions in TNR 8. Image captions in one line are centered, while multi-lines are aligned to the right and left. Image captions are placed after the associated image.
9. Mathematical equations must be written clearly, numbered sequentially, and accompanied by the required information.
10. Page numbers, headers and footers are not used. All hypertext links and bookmark sections will be deleted. If the paper needs to refer to an email address or URL in the article, the full address or URL must be typed in plain font.
11. Quotations and References are written according to IEEE standards (see templates on JTElS website)
Quotations are numbered in the format [1], [2], [3], ... in the order they appear. Wikipedia, personal blogs and non-scientific websites are not allowed. Primary references must be taken for a maximum of 5 years.
12. More detailed writing instructions can be viewed and downloaded on the Jurnal of Telecommunication and Electrical Scientific website in the templates section.
Jurnal of Telecommunication and Electrical Scientific editorial board recognises that plagiarism is not acceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) upon identification of plagiarism/similarities in articles submitted for publication in Jurnal of Telecommunication and Electrical Scientific. Jurnal of Telecommunication and Electrical Scientific will use Plagiarism Detector originality checking software as the tool in detecting similarities of texts in article manuscripts and the final version of articles ready for publication. A maximum of 20% of similarities is allowed for the submitted papers. Should we find more than 20% of the similarity index, the article will be returned to the author for correction and resubmission or auto-rejected.
